DAY 4 – THE PROBLEM IS, KILLERS PRAY TOO

The older generation wants us to forgive. They say it is good for the soul, will heal your mind. They’ve had 30 years of anger. In 30 years, we too will forgive. Is it by force?

The International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, an ad hoc tribunal, was established from 1994 to 2015, it prosecuted 93 war criminals. Remaining cases were transferred to the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals which, in its turn, prosecuted 62 war criminals. Since the Genocide claimed close to 1 million victims, there is an absurdly high number of smaller-scale killers still roaming the streets… When the overwhelming majority of them has been made to pay for their crimes, we will be very happy to forgive.

For now, instruct your mothers, fathers, uncles, aunts, wives, husbands, with blood on their hands; that every hidden thing will become clear.

Trust they’ve had ample time to formulate prayers regarding their possible eternal damnation.

With Great Disdain for Every Killer,

-Liv
