Umuntu ni Nkundi. Kirazira; ntimukarangwe n’urwango!
Je veux clarifier mes dires… (I wish to clarify my words.) In the American context, what I am against is an anti-black system that insists on clowning us; not a particular race. In the Genocide context, my anger is directed at those with blood on their hands who (along with their big bellies), freely roam the streets; not a particular tribe. Having been exposed to the ugly face of discrimination, how dare I discriminate?
Black/White, East African/West African,Christian/Muslim, Heterosexual/Homosexual, Pastor’s Wife/Sex-Worker: though our modes of life may diverge, we are one! The UBUNTU philosophy, which I abide by, surpasses our differences: “My Humanity is tied to your Humanity” -ArchBishop Desmond Tutu
To despise the creature would be to despise the Creator. What we despise are crimes/systems; not people.
Receive my Warmest Embrace,
-Liv
