As I prepare to conclude this series, I am encouraged by this generation. Many, especially those in the diaspora, barely even know the tribe they would have belonged to. Perhaps that’s how this curse is broken: Nd’umunyarwanda!
As for the guilty, they tremble with fear awaiting the day the long arm of justice will reach them and THAT beloved, is solace enough.
As for the survivors, the floods could not overcome us, and we went on to become educated, kind, forgiving, humans…It is well!
