MARRIAGE

My friend, with a very entertained expression on his face, recently posed this question to me: do you think most Christians marry to get a free license to fornicate? I laughed at the question. I had never thought of it that way.

In all transparency, when I did stumble into marriage that one time, aside from romance/love, companionship, the desire to bring up children in a sane environment etc ; the “license to fornicate” DID IN FACT constitute a big chunk of my rationale. I don’t even think it’s a bad reason. Instead of being chewed like chewing gum in these streets, marriage is the superior option.

So ye marry and be merry! Praying for peaceful homes for all newlyweds. As for me, Im on sabbatical, eating mangos, people watching; I’ll ponder on my future later.
