GUNS IN AMERICA

We have a big problem in America: Guns.
In the beginning when US freed itself from British Rule, it sought to create a utopic government.

They drafted a Constitution and exalted it as the supreme law of the land. One of the rights it guaranteed its people as a sort of a “checks and balance” was the right to bear arms. The idea was a goverment cannot oppressed an armed population. It reads “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

Since then, things have degenerated into pure chaos. Guns became so engrained in the culture, I can literally purchase a large rifle where I purchase my deodorant. There has been 46 school shootings this year alone. That is an average of 5 shootings a month. We are living in insane times. YET, any attempt to regulate the second amendment is shut down as unconstitutional.

The nation remains at a standstill. Qui vivra, verra.
