KOLA ADETOLA

Some people don’t believe a pure, healthy friendship can exist between a man and a woman. I don’t blame them, we live in a society in which relationships with the opposite sex have been perverted. We are in a sort of never ending battle of the sexes where each gender uses manipulation tactics to achieve their selfish ends. But every now and then, comes a Kola. I wish you all to have a Kola in your lives.

Kola has been my friend for 10+ years. Kola is a gentleman and is very private. Kola only has sisters so I think his sense of respect for women is heightened. Before his video production business blew up, he used to take videos of us all for free. There was even a season of my life where I’d do lots of spoken words around Atlanta, and Kola became my play “manager” to help me appear fancy… Kola is very private so we have to sweat to get him to tell us who is with. However, he has met most all of my love interests including my ex-spouse. He always encourages me and never judges. Always saying “whatever you need Queen X” (Used to go by that back when I thought myself the reincarnation of Malcom X lol)

Fun Fact: I’ve never bought a TV in my life because when I had my first apartment, Kola let me go through his storage to “shop”… lol Ten year later, we are now grown and sexy, and we only see each other when we can but I want to take this moment to appreciate your friendship. In fact, you are no longer my friend, you are my brother. Thank you for your kindness. God will reward you. When the time comes; your wife will call you blessed, your children will call you blessed. That is my prayer for you.
