THE ECCENTRIC AUNT

My cousin Aurora, who possesses remarkable physical and inner beauty, recently asked if I’d ever heard of the term “to do it for the plot”. It means to do something regardless of the potential for a negative outcome. Used to describe someone who views themselves as the main character in their life and acts in a way that moves the story along. I exclaimed at the Accuracy! I am a so “do it for the plot” kinda gal.

The one who has neither shame nor filter. The one who casually discusses with great ease her love interests. The one who, at family functions, sends kids on errands and bribes them with candy. The one whose style is both fascinating and frightening. She is liberal in her view of the world and always has crazy tales to tell.
