GOD IS NON-PARTISAN

I first wish to share a prophecy: “You are about to read this blog. After that you will eat. Later tonight, you will even sleep…” (-Ok now prove that God did not speak to me-) That’s the beauty of prophecies, it reverses the burden of proof on YOU.

Pleasantries aside, I am a dedicated, albeit flawed, servant of God. One that is committed to Biblical precepts of holiness, true love, humanity, compassion. I hosted Bible Studies in every school I’ve ever attended from Ecole Belge de Kigali to Howard University School of Law in the nation’s Capital. (Beloved Classmates, I beg, confirm, so these people don’t think I’m lying…)

My mother Mukagatare was a prayer warrior who prayed for me while I was in her womb. Her mother Mukarwego was a prayer warrior who prayed for her while she was in her womb. Mukarwego was a powerhouse, she was one of the early “Barokores”, who contributed to the salvation of some Rwandan favs like Pastor Rutayisire. By the time I came around in 1992, my parents were in school in South Bend, Indiana. I was dedicated to God in his Temple by a certain Evangelist named Lester Smurell shortly after my birth. I am now 31 years old, If I was to count the number of times I missed Sunday Service in my life, the number would be in the 2 digits. In other words, I am TRUE TO THIS, NOT NEW TO THIS!

Regretably, I am noticing a growing trend in pro-Trump immigrants, invoking some sort of obscure prophecy saying this is God’s will. Baby, Your vote, your choice. However, I caution you dear friends that invoking the Holy name of God the Merciful in a dirty game of politics is categorically Blasphemous. Really, my true problem is this; if you people anger God and he sends another destructive flood to Earth, nobody, in this lazy generation of ours, is building an ark with their bare hands.

Let us be honest with ourselves. You don’t actually think President-Elect Trump embodies Christian Values, do you? Must be the gays/trans that bother you. That or the abortion issue. Let us now tackle each topic point by point.
In Re. Gays & Trans. Firstly, Salvation is a personal affair. However, if you are in fact troubled by their alleged “living in sin” wouldn’t the logical response be to intercede for their salvation? In Re. Abortion. If killing babies bothers you, don’t kill them. Who are you, O, Sinful Mortal, to cast jugement on your fellow human? More practically speaking, precisely how do you intend on policing all “sinners” of America?

It is ILLOGICAL to declare the Republican Party as God’s Party & Trump as God’s elect. They don’t even claim that! They knew they could not push the God Agenda all the while pushing the Gun Agenda (which is a fundamental tenant of their ideology)… They figured people wouldn’t buy it. Turns out bringing a Black Preacher to lay hands on Trump was enough to gain sympathy among yall. On behalf of the entire African continent, I am legit embarassed by your unlinear thinking.

I am not one to measure a person’s faith with a yardstick. But Trump’s faith appears at best opaque, uncategoric, lukewarm; only conveniently highlighted around election time. If you insist on judging, let us begin with the lady in red, Paul White, AKA Trump’s Spiritual Advisor. Madam has been married three times and divorced twice. Madam was married when she had an affair with her assistant Pastor who was also married. Madam was investigated by the Senate for financial crimes. Etc.

Imagine missing heaven for this BS. God have mercy on us all. I leave you with this;
