One of the ills of society, that we work day and night to combat is that humans are expected to behave the same. Hide this. Don’t hide this. Share this. Don’t share this. Mbese, Za Kirazira Zidashira. I am beyond every Do & Don’t. I am not constrained by society or by people. I am bigger than that. I do what I want, when I want, how I want. Your 101 rules are as foreign to me as the 101 Dalmatians. No box can contain me. I thought we put that matter to rest.
Bagenzi, Inama igibwa uwayatse. You underestimate our intelligence when you offer unsolicited advice. Do you really think we don’t measure the risks? Talking about, “dear learn from your mistakes.” What mistakes? I loved and the love ended. My hands are clean. There is no lesson to draw. Humans are ever flawed. Love is ever unpredictable. Some experience one love. Others experience a succession loves. Each category has meaning and beauty. Bottom line: I fear nothing and that is apparently revolutionary.
Dearest reader, judge not lest you be judged. You say I shock you, well, some of you shock me too. I didn’t know for example that one could live and not live at the same time because afraid of their own shadow. Neither did I know that one could entertain a married lover he/she met in church and remain in said church. You don’t see me advising you people unless asked. I keep my shock under wraps. Similarly, keep it cute as I wouldn’t want to make you the subject of my next editorial rage. Let each manage their life however they see fit. Ariko nshuti z’Imana, mwagizwe nyubakumi ryari ko itanganzo ritaciye kuri radiyo? (*Who elected you mayor in charge of communal-wellbeing & why did the announcement not make it to radio?*)
