Married girlies/gents, clock in, y’all know you can say no right? Fundamental Christians will disagree. So will hardcore Africans, self-appointed “keepers of culture.” According to their (flawed) logic, marriage gives implied consent to sex in perpetuity… *Mcheww* Ethics, morality, fairness aside; let us discuss the law. Until couple decades ago, US Laws did not recognize this crime but now they do, so does Rwanda. Rwanda even criminalizes adultery/encourages snitching: “Umuntu uhamwe n’icyaha cy’ubusambanyi ahanishwa igifungo kuva ku mezi atandatu kugeza ku myaka ibiri… Ubuhamya butanzwe nabaturanyi bwitabwaho.” (**Any person convicted with adultery shall be liable to imprisonment sentence of between six months and two years…Testimonies produced by neighbors shall be taken into account** – LAW N°59/2008). A word of advice to Rwandan adulterers, move to Uganda.

Imagine, something as beautiful as sex (so I hear from non-virgins) has been turned into power play. We really out here Tarzan ’Ing. In the words of the great lyricist “Hide your wives-Hide your husbands.”
