PSEUDO-PROSTITUTION

As to the questions of who pays on dates, can a woman approach a man, etc. I am not in those cheap debates, please. I’m an emancipated woman, come on! Whoever wants to pay that day will pay. Whoever wants to toast that day will toast. The End.

It does, however, seem to me that my sisters are out here traumatizing men. Yesterday, a Gentleman friend of mine shared his experience on the dating scene. He saluted my free-spirited approach and said things are more and more transactional on the love market. It is as if women are not interested in love but in materials. The man’s utility/function is to pay dates, buy gifts, fly you out… It begs the question, y’all want a partner or an income? If if is the later, and the product you are selling is self, I am afraid we have entered into pseudo-prostitution territory.

PS: The pick-me insult cannot land on me. Every other day I am here , criticizing unacceptable behaviors of men. As my pastor used to say, I am an equal opportunity offender. God help us all!
