YEAR-END

Howdy Friends! So… I’ve decided to try something new in 2025: Privacy. (*Laughs out Loud*) In the aftermath of my divorce, I went on a sort of public love experiment. You watched me explore the opposite gender as I sought to answer the question: “Does marriage as is limit ambitious african women?” Being the subject of my own experiment, left zero room to privacy. This didn’t bother me much since I already don’t believe in taboos. I met interesting people, one was a Dr. with a whole Wiki Page, one taught me how to ride a motorcycle. I did get catfished at some point. Sometimes it felt like butterflies, other times it felt like simple hunger. The ones I liked did not always like me. The ones that liked me I did not always like. What can I say? God has a massive sense of humour! I have not yet concluded my experiment, but one thing is clear: “Ain’t no formula”. Life coaches will tell you one thing, parents will tell you another, self-appointed experts will offer another take… Truth is nobody knows what they are doing. So I just pray, squeeze pineapple juice, and mind my business.

Uber-excited because 2025 feels grand. I wish to publish my first book. I wish to start contemplating running for office. Therefore, as I elevate, adjustments must be made. Hope you enjoyed the public ride! We are now entering a new phase: Mysterious Grande Dame Era. (*Drum Roll Please*)
