My church is fasting 100 days. Soon Muslims too will enter 30 days of Ramadan. I attempted to fast one day and almost passed out.

I think this is the normal trajectory of any long-term pious: ups, downs, ups, downs. We take comfort in this- “Though the righteous falls seven times, he rises again…” Afterall, not by might but by grace!
