So, the EPITOME of First World Problems is the Pandemonium in which America & France find themselves at the moment. The public is obsessing over Brigitte Macron’s assigned sex at birth. The Élysée is issuing cease & desist letters every other day. French Journalists are writing books. Candace is cleaning her camera lights. I mean, people are stressed!

I too am obsessed. But for a different reason. Seeing as Brigitte does not warm my bed,I could not care less about what gender she was assigned at birth BUT has a crime been committed? Do we have a sitting President that has been groomed by his now wife/ first lady? Already 4 million people have visualized Candace’s exposé, published just 9 days ago on YouTube. Keep in mind I disagree with Candace on just about anything, she hates feminists, her latest book alone had my eyes rolling “make him a sandwich”. As in , is it by force sis? More importantly, I find her to be a shame to black culture for a multitude of reasons I will not get into here. Still, I must agree, something is very off with the french presidential couple… Candace is super religious and possibly a tiny bit homophobic. So definitely not the most objective factfinder. That’s where I come in… Firstly, is this even anyone’s business? Kinda… General US laws provide that “the personal life of a public official may become subject to public scrutiny if relevant to their official duties or public perception of their ability to serve.” Similarly, the European Court of Human Rights uses this formula: “Une balance est necessaire -au cas par cas- entre la liberté d’expression et le droit à la vie privée; en fonction, d’une part, du statut de la personnalité publique et d’autre part, de la nature de l’indiscrétion. Est ce que, par example, l’indiscrétion litigieuse est un ‘sujet légitime de débat public?’”

So… I have decided to fact-check every major claim Candace makes. Claim 1 that we will verify, Candace points out the irregularity of Macron’s first Presidential Portrait. In the background lay 3 books, one of which is “Les Nourittures Terrestres” This is a book by literary Giant, André Gide. Candace claims the book has pedophilic ideations. French Media on the other hand describe the book as follows, “l’auteur decouvre la sensualité et se défait du carcan rigoriste de la morale protestante” – The author has discovered sensuality and has freed himself from rigorous religious morality. So which is it? I have found the manuscript online and started reading it in its original French form . I will be sure to report weird things I find, if at all. And we will hopefully be done with this matter once and for all.

Final point; cultural/sexual liberation was a common theme in the 70s/80s in France. I am told reading these books in school was normal then…Also, age of consent in France is 15. So technically no crime has been committed as they are said to have met (and started romance) when Macron was 15 and Madam was 39. But the power differential should be accounted for, that is – teacher v. student… Surely, some international law has been violated? The search continues…
