Recall the Refugee family I came in contact with? Their son was incapacited following a workplace incident a year ago. He is in coma & lays in Hospice in the family’s apartment. Statute of Limitation was set to expire in 2 months. Family is new, not yet accustomed to America, & does not speak English – employer knows this and appears to have taken advantage of the situation. Well, we have connected them with a super competent Workers’ Comp. Lawyer and I have personally accompanied them to the family’s home for formal introductions. Now, guess what, dear faithful reader, I am INCREDIBLY excited to share that – legal proceedings are en cour. “For I was young, and now I am old- I have never seen the righteous forsaken.”
