Ramadan, Congress, Weight, Justice

Ramadan Mubarak رمضان مبارك. To all our Muslim friends observing Ramadan, we wish you a prosperous Holy Month.

So… We could fact-check yesterday’s Address to Congress (which is technically not a state of the Union) given by #47 but since facts matter not to members of his cult, we will save our breath/megabytes.

Instead, I had an epiphany. You know how I struggle with weight management.
I have highs and lows. Right now, I’m fatter than usual and it needs to change before bikini season… (Fat is only an insult in America. Elsewhere, it is merely a descriptive adjective. Like saying, “that dress is colorful.”) Anyway, I will continue to work on building healthier habits BUT it recently occurred to me. God being fair, could not justify giving one person intellect, beauty, kidness, charm AND a perfect body. So he HAD to give me an average body. For which we are grateful and we will tone soon (ish)!
