Conservative, Judgmental, Hateful, Uneducated, Detached Christians are perhaps my least favorite category of humans. The juxtaposition is too grave for my soul to bare.
It often comes as a surprise – (for I am apparently not constipated enough for y’all)- but please understand; like my mother before me, and her mother before her, I am a super devout Christian! I was dedicated at the Altar of God at just a couple days old and since then, no matter where I am in the world; from Cape Town to Kinshasa passing by Brussels and the Americas, I have missed Service maybe a dozen time in my ENTIRE life. Fun fact: I led Bible Study at every school I ever attended. From my HS “Ecole Belge” in Kigali at 14 to Howard Law in DC at 25. I have watched most of you live in visible sin for years, ofc – never daring to cast judgement for I too, am a sinner saved by Grace. BUT now suddenly, baby convert that you are, has “transformed” your life and the population can no longer breathe.
Today alone, I watched 3 different Africans in Africa, whose cultish political or religious allegiance has become so strong, declare Charlie Kirk a prophet and a martyr. As in, do they know he called the Civil Rights Act, which outlawed racial discrimination, a “huge mistake”; called murdered Floyd a “scumbag”, called black pilots “unqualified”? I never wrote on his speeches because much like #47, man did not engage in intellectual debate but rather in random inflammatory monologues- which I deem to be beneath me. But if he hated the Blacks he saw in America, just imagine what he’d think of your very African behind. As in, am I in a skit?
Which is it? Y’all hate the gays that bad, or y’all just want a white husband/wife? Because I ain’t never seen any of you go this hard for MLK… This is not about God; this is about deeply ingrained self-hate. It’s giving I’d have sold my brothers in the slave trade with no hesitation. Truth is, in accordance with Hammurabi’s Code, “eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth”, I’d be justified to go off on the deceased as he did on Floyd. Luckily for them & annoyingly for me, my moral code is blocking me from attacking the departed…It is 4a, I swear upon the living God, that I am weeping for the emancipation of our people…
