No Kings Rally is a series of well coordinated peaceful demonstrations against #47’s increasing tyranny; organized by a number of orgs including ACLU which, fun fact, has more than 50 cases filed against Trump at the moment. Yesterday, all over America, millions took to the streets.
I was there 3 hours, listening to some of my favorite speakers including Senator Warnock and shoulda-been-governor Stacey Abrams describe the 10 steps of tyranny. People had funny signs like “it’s giving SMALL DIC(tator) energy.” Ofc, no offense to those who face this genitalia phenomenon in real life. Everyone is created equal. None of those things really matter. EXCEPT WHEN IT MAKES YOU SEPARATE FAMILIES FOR NO FUCKING REASON BECAUSE YOU’RE A HATER… (PS: If the aforementionned DOES bother you, it shouldn’t, but if so- just try those African herbs Coach Hammond Chic be selling on Youtube… It’s 2025 babe, people taking a stroll to space and shit, nothing is impossible)
Back to business, at the rally, I saw someone from my local coffeeshop and even made a new friend, a Qatar Born South Sudanese Veteran who went to Iraq twice. I thanked him for his service. We both noticed the absence of black people, especially in a city as black as Atlanta. We concluded most black people were disillusioned with whites because SOMEBODY voted for this man. Twice.
Those of us they love to tag as extremists are of course NOT disappointed, that would require we trusted these people to begin with. I expect nothing from anyone whose fathers traded humans as cattle. My fight was never about the everyday white American loving me, they can be racist in their hearts eternally, I couldn’t care less. My fight is about equal laws, equal wages, equal protections, etc. So where the black people at? Taking a break real quick. Y’all fix this.
